Today is my first day away from you. I had a student teaching conference in Stephenville. Your Grandma DeDe is going to babysit you. I know you are in great hands, but I definitely missed you. I guess I need to get used to this routine because this is what will happen while I finish my student teaching in a few weeks. I am so thankful and grateful that your DeDe is going to keep you while I am finishing up my undergrad. Thankfully, Grandma DeDe is current in her technology (more than me, actually) and sent me pictures and one video throughout the day. I loved getting them.
After the conference, I went home and picked up your dad, and we both came to pick you up. I was so excited to see you. I really missed you. After we picked you up, we headed to Tah's house. She and NaNa generously bought us a part of your stroller that we needed to attach your carseat to the stroller, so I was excited to get it so we could start walking! We got there and decided to go on our first walk, and tah went with us! It was a lot of fun. We all took turns pushing you. Let me tell you, you were riding in style! I call it your "bionic stroller" because it is awesome! I cannot wait to possibly run some 5Ks together this summer.
After our walk, we headed into town for a quick visit with one of your dad's college buddies. You met Reese Knight, Stephen's son. We visited with them for a little while as they were on their way through town. Then we headed back to Tah's to have dinner with them. As usual, you were the star of the show! You were passed around between PahPah and Tah. They love you so much. As do your dad and I! Love you baby girl.
